.msg Attachments Appending To The Incident Thread

Why are .msg email attachments appending to the incident thread instead of attaching to the incident?

Resolution:
When a .msg file is attached to an email in Outlook and sent in to Oracle B2C Service, the content type is set as message/rfc822 which our system parses as part of the whole email thus appending the email with the content of the .msg file.
