Why am I not being prompted to save the password?

In some cases, Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) users may experience issues with the Remember Me functionality in May 2015 and newer, even after stepping through Answer ID 7830: Remember Me Functionality for Oracle Service Cloud where they are not being prompted to save the password. The left click to display the list of usernames does nothing - it does not display the list of names
Reset Internet Explorer (IE) settings can help with this issue. Here are steps to reset IE settings:
- Tools > Internet options > Advanced tab > Reset
- Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box pops up, click Reset.
- When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, click Close, and click OK.
According to Microsoft help page, you may need to restart your PC for these changes to take effect. After this point, test again the steps from Answer ID 7830 (link above).
