Co-browse within iFrames

How do I configure Co-browse to be used within iFrames?

Environment:

Co-browse
Oracle B2C Service

Resolution:

Usage of Co-browse with iFrames depends on a specific scenario, as described below:

  1. Same origin iFrames. When using Co-browse within multiple iFrames only the first level same origin iFrames are supported. If the parent and child page are both within the same domain & sub-domain, then it will suffice to add the Co-browse launcher script on to the parent page (header/footer section) or a commonly referenced page only.
  2. iFrames with different origins. If the parent and child page/iFrame are in different sub-domains (regardless of whether it is an internal sub-domain, or an external sub-domain), it will be necessary to add the same Co-browse script into each of the child page/iFrames separately, due to cross-domain security policies enforced by browser page-page communication.
    1. The following scenario is also supported: the child page/iFrame contains another child page/iFrame and both are in the same sub-domain
