Why does the audit log show that I made changes to a report, when I know that I did not?

Environment:

All Sites, Reports.

Issue:

When viewing the Audit Log on a report it shows that agents made changes to the report who did not actually make changes. In some cases the agent listed as making a change may not even have edit permissions for the report.

Resolution:

In some cases the system will automatically change the report definition, such as when the report is forced to queue. When this happens the Audit Log shows whoever ran the report when it triggered the auto-change as the person who made the change to the report.
