Why am I receiving the notification that flags an invalid format ID?

If you receive a notification like 'site_name: Invalid format_id = ###' the following may be the cause.
Check if you have recently deleted any mailings or surveys. You can do this by looking at your deleted records. Refer to Answer ID 2460: Determining who deleted records from the application for steps to create a custom report.
This error is caused when a mailing has been deleted and customers are still accessing the email and clicking on the tracked links that are still active. You can choose to ignore this error, or you can delete and remake the tracked links, however this is not advised as you will lose the historical data on your tracked link.
