Why is my personal spell check dictionary lost on upgrade?

Environment:

Spell check dictionary
Oracle B2C Service

Resolution:

To investigate why local spell check additions are lost on cutover or maintenance pack application, we need the install log from an affected computer. Note that the file needs to be gathered immediately or the important details will be written over in a few days

The file is located at

C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\RightNow_Technologies\<SIT_NAME>\<VERSION_NUMBER>\Users\<ACCOUNT_ID>

If it appears that after upgrade that your local spell check additions are lost, please create a new service request with Support and include the file.

Note: if as part of the upgrade process you uninstall and reinstall the application (or get a new image from your IT department) the local spell check additions will be lost.
