Microsoft changed the Support Lifecycle policy for Internet Explorer. How does this affect browser supported with the Service Cloud console?

Environment:

Supported Internet Explorer browsers with Service Cloud Console
As of January 2016

Issue:

In keeping with general Oracle support policies, Oracle B2C Service Technical Support cannot provide support of the Service Cloud console or End User pages with an Operating System, Browser, or application after support by the OEM has ended.

As of January 12, 2016 Microsoft will discontinue support for all but the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a Windows Operating System. For details on this please see Internet Explorer Support Lifecycle Policy FAQ

Resolution:

As of January 12, 2016 the Service Cloud console will only be supported in conjunction currently supported versions of Internet Explorer.
