Issue:
We receive an error in our roaming profile or nonpersistent VDI environment when a user logs in after Oracle B2C Service application is deployed. Are roaming profiles or nonpersistent VDIs supported?
Resolution:
Avoid deploying the application in a roaming profile or nonpersistent VDI environments
Cause:
The Oracle B2C Service application is deployed using the Microsoft ClickOnce technology. This technology is not supported by Microsoft with roaming profiles or nonpersistent VDI environments. For details see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2571899
Deployment issues related to the deployment of Oracle B2C Service in a roaming profile environment or nonpersistent VDI environments are not supported by Oracle B2C Service.
The Oracle B2C Service application will run in a roaming profile or a nonpersistent VDI environment and is supported except for the deployment issue as noted above.
Deploying the Oracle B2C Service application in a roaming profile environment or a nonpersistent VDI environment, will necessitate redeploying the local, user specific, application files each time the user logs on. This is best accomplished by always starting the application from the launch page.
