Updated Admin Pages for Your OSvC Service
Answer ID 11420   |   Last Review Date 03/15/2020

Environment:

Oracle Service Cloud Support Site > My Site Tools, Admin Pages

Resolution:

Oracle Service Cloud Technical Support has been working to deprecate the pages hosted at hms.custhelp.com.  You may be familiar with them as some of the admin and utility pages linked to from the My Site Tools page.  These updates will remove functionality from behind a second authentication requirement, update the look & feel to be consistent with cx.rightnow.com, and also bring some much needed functionality updates.

Pages that have been migrated off of hms.custhelp.com:

Site Information
Previous functionality: This page provided a list of sites you own and their interfaces

New functionality:

-  The page has been updated to support partner permissions.  Partners who have been given 'create' or above permissions (as described here) will now be able to see information about your site on this page.

-  The information on this page has been greatly enhanced to include:

  • Per Site:
    • The Configuration Assistant URL for administering your site
    • The site's hosted datacenter
    • Your site's subscription ID
    • Current product version
    • HIPAA designation (Yes/No)
    • PCI designation (Yes/No)
    • Whether or not you are Auto Update Program (AUP) enrolled
    • The date of any scheduled update
    • The target version of any scheduled update
  • Per Interface:
    • The enduser URL
    • The admin URL
    • The SOAP integration endpoint
    • The REST integration endpoint

We are happy to continue to add data points to this page as needed.  If you think of something, you're welcome to submit Site Feedback and we'll look into it.

Spam Filtering

Previous Functionality: This page allowed you to authenticate into the barracuda spam filter for your service mailboxes, where you could configure spam filtering rules.

New Functionality:

-  The page has been updated to support partner permissions.  Partners who have been given 'create' or above permissions (as described here) will be able to manage your barracuda filter settings on your behalf.

-  The page has been updated to support barracuda filters on datacenters that had previously been unavailable through the old page (ex; IL, and new OCI datacenters)

Utility Stats

Previous Functionality: This page allowed you to see a list of utilities running on your site, and statistics such as when they last run, and if they completed successfully

New Functionality:

-  The page has been updated to support partner permissions.  Partners who have been given 'create' or above permissions (as described here) will be able to see information about your site.

We are currently working to similarly migrate the Apache Logs page and will update this answer once that is complete.
