Why am I not allowed to make changes in euf/staging_assets/themes/ folder?

Environment:

All versions, Customer Portal

Resolution:

This is because we do not allow edits to be done on staging folders. Staging folder are created by deployment processes and are not to be changed manually.

To edit image files you need to do the following:

1. Modify image file in /euf/assets/themes/<interface-name>/images/ instead.

2. Now using CP deployment as explained in Answer ID 2849: Deploying Customer Portal pages to promote this change to staging and then to production.
