Error occurs when agents are trying to login to chat after a chat update

Why do agents get an error logging into chat after the site was migrated to the newer version of chat?

Environment: 

Sites using Chat
Oracle Service Cloud

Resolution:

This occurs if you are logged into the console but not logged into chat at the time of the chat server update.  If possible you should log out of the console before the update to avoid this problem. 

If the problem happens you should log out of the console completely.  When you log back in, configuration that was updated during the migration will be updated and chat should work.
