Why are the Japanese, Chinese, or Korean characters showing up as boxes on my console?

Environment:

Resolution:

The Asian language fonts that are needed to display the text in your Oracle B2C Service console are only installed on your workstation if you:

• Use a localized version of Windows OS
• Enable the "East Asian language files" from the region and languages setting in the control panel of your workstation by following the instructions provided here from Microsoft.

Note:  If you do not already have the necessary files installed on your workstation, you may be asked to insert an OS installation disk during this procedure. If further assistance is needed, you will want to consult your IT administrator.
