Why are we receiving an incident from hms?

Environment:

Inbound Email
Oracle B2C Service, All versions

Resolution:

The email from hms@custhelp.com that creates an incident is an automated internal process to verify email functionality. Thus, it is safe to ignore or delete the incident. Below are few scenarios on when it triggers:
  • New Oracle hosted mailbox is created through Configuration Assistant
  • Infrastructure change
