B2C Service capabilities that are not available for U.S. Government sites
Answer ID 12877   |   Last Review Date 09/23/2025

If my site is on a U.S. government pod, are there features or functionality that are not available?

Environment:

Government pods  (only AG & DD)
Oracle B2C Service

Resolution:

While Oracle B2C Service can be purchased with a variety of add-ons, only specific components are available for use in regulatory-controlled environments.

For Oracle B2C Service sites deployed in Oracle U.S. Government data centers, some features and functionality are not available. Currently, these are:
  • Agent Insights
  • Analytics, runtime changes within Browser UI
  • Analytics, personalization options within Browser UI
  • Ask Agent
  • Chat Agent Preferences within Browser UI, includes reporting
  • Chat Agent Suggestions
  • Chat Header can include the queue label
  • Chat Header can be color coded based on the toast queue color configuration
  • CX Unity Ingestion Service
  • Engagement Engine, including Web Chat for Service
  • Element Manager, in overwrite mode
  • Event Delivery Service
  • Experience Routing
  • External Objects
  • Hot Topics & Similar Incidents
  • Knowledge Advanced
  • Language Translation, for Incident Threads and B2C Chat
  • Microsoft Teams integration with Browser UI
  • Oracle Messaging
  • Proofread Agent for Chat
  • Proofread Agent for Incident Threads
  • Service Usage Metrics alert notifications
  • Summarization for Chat
  • Summarization for Incident Threads
  • Versioning Service
  • Video Chat
  • Zoom integration with Browser UI
Additionally, if you are looking to integrate your regulatory-controlled site using any of the sample Accelerators, reading the documentation should identify whether all components are available for use or engage your Technical Account Manager for guidance.
