When do usage tables for Instances and Interfaces appear on a usage report?

Environment:

Usage Metrics Report

Resolution:

There are a number of SKUs that include an Instance (B68550) and an Interface (B73899).
  • If you did not license any additional Instances or Interfaces, then an Instance or Interface table will not appear in the usage report.
  • If you licensed additional Instances or Interfaces, then an Instance or Interface table will appear in the usage report. It will also list the number of included Instances and Interfaces.
  • You can not create your own Instance. Instances will usually not appear as unexpected usage unless the "base" SKU subscription ended (you might be in the process of renewing) or Oracle hasn't reclaimed the environment yet.
  • You can create your own Interfaces. Interfaces can show over usage if you have created more Interfaces than you’re entitled to. They can appear as unexpected usage if the subscription ended (and you are in the process of renewing) or Oracle hasn’t reclaimed the environment yet.
