Why is keyword search not listing answers containing Arabic language content?

Environment:

Customer Portal (CP), Knowledge Foundation (KF)
Oracle B2C Service

This behavior is expected due to Arabic language not being supported for search currently. For details on this see
 
 
For a small answer, this may just work. However, for Knowledge Foundation search, Arabic characters are identified using the English language (space separated). Search terms are likely to not be added to the Answer Phrases table that supports search due to a limit on the number of phrases allowed to be added to this table per answer.
