Manual links in Knowledge Advanced only work bi-directionally

Can I create a manual article link to relate some article A to B without linking B to A?

Environment:

Oracle B2C Service sites with Knowledge Advanced, all versions

Issue:

A knowledge base manager would like to link article "A" to article "B" so that "B" shows up as a related answer for "A", but not the other way around.

Resolution:

Whenever you create or promote a manual article link, the articles are linked in both directions. When deleting the link, both directions are deleted as well. Manually linking in only one direction is not possible.
