Can I cancel a Pending activity that was left in yesterday's route/bucket?

I need to cancel a Pending activity that was allocated on yesterday's route/bucket, but I don't have the 'Cancel' option in the activity.
Users can cancel a Pending activity that was scheduled for the previous day if the time specified in Configuration > Business Rules parameter Overnight work has not been reached. After the allotted time, you cannot change the activity status.
Q: Can Oracle cancel the activity in the database for me since I cannot cancel the activity using GUI or API?
A: Oracle cannot manipulate activities in the database on behalf of customers. This action is not safe.
