Why are ServerConfigProperty profile properties not being reflected for add-ins?

Environment:

Oracle Service Cloud, all supported versions

Issue:

ServerConfigProperty values defined for specific profiles are not being reflected correctly.

Resolution:

If your profile has "Developer Access" enabled on the profile and the add-in in question is in the development folder on your computer, it will not pull the ServerConfigProperty values from the console, but rather use the defaults in the add-in code. To verify that the ServerConfigProperty values defined on your profile in the Add-in Manager are working properly, you would need to disable "Developer Access" on your profile and then restart the agent desktop console.
