Resolution:
You can dynamically resize the column widths in your report. Hover over the column divider and drag and drop the divider to a new location in the report.
Dynamically resizing column widths does not alter the column width defined in the report. That is, if you close the report and re-open it later, the column widths default to the sizes configured in the report -- not the column width you last used. You would need to resize the column width again.
To change the column width defined in the report, use the steps below:
When configuring column widths, the Best Fit option determines the column width based on the number of columns and how much data is included in each column. The Specific Width option allows you to define a fixed width in your report.
Grid reports and column widths: With a grid report, if some columns are configured with a specific width and some have the best fit, the application favors the specific width and fixes those widths. Then, the best fit columns are sized based on the remaining width of the console.
If all columns are set to a specific width, the report may be narrower than the console if the total width is less than the console width. If the total report width is wider than the console, each column is resized proportionally so that the report fits within the console. With standard reports, the columns are not resized and a horizontal scroll bar displays to allow access to the information to the right of what is shown in the console.
