Change SSO entity ID
Answer ID 12006 |
Last Review Date 04/19/2023
How can we change the SAML entity ID for SSO on our Oracle B2C Service site?
Environment:
- Oracle B2C Service version 21C and later
- Single Sign-On
Issue:
We need to change the entity ID for SSO authentication.
Resolution:
Modify the configuration setting SSO_ENTITY_ID to the desired value. This value must be unique between your sites. Updating the SSO_ENTITY_ID configuration setting will overwrite the auto-generated entity ID that can be found when you export the SP metadata from the Single Sign-On Configurations component. Once you have updated the SSO_ENTITY_ID configuration setting, you can export the SP metadata from the Single Sign-On Configurations component and you will see the new entity ID at the top. This metadata can then be given to your external IdP for importing.
