Rest API Knowledge Advanced dates do not observe interface timezone

Why is the createDate and displayStartDate set through the Rest 'km/api/latest/content/import' request not correlated with the interface timezone?

Resolution
The Authoring Module in Oracle Knowledge Advanced (KA) has been designed to observe the server time, not the interface timezone.
As a consequence, the Rest API for KA will observe the same time frame i.e. the server time where the site is hosted and the request is ran from.
This means that, even if the site is IST timezone, if the server is located in GMT timezone, the dates will be displayed in GMT server time.
