Is the 'Email Answer Link' saving the contact's e-mail address in our database?

Environment:

Emails, Customer Portal

Resolution:

The functionality of the 'Email this Answer Link' is to send an email containing an answer link from your knowledge base to an email address.

The recipient's email address is not stored in the database as a contact, however since the email is being sent by the Oracle mail server, it is going to show up in the delivery logs.
