Are we able to update Oracle B2C Service site per interface?

Environment:

Oracle B2C Service updates

Resolution:

Oracle periodically issues software updates for supported versions of Oracle B2C Service.  The purpose of these updates are to improve the capabilities of the service and/or to re-mediate known defects.

Updates of Oracle B2C Service take place per site. In other words, the update process applies to all interfaces of a site as one consecutive process. The system is not able to update on a per interface basis.

In addition, customers will receive URLs of testing environments for each interface when an upgrade site becomes ready, and are required to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all interfaces before cutover takes place.

Example:

  1. Site “support” has 2 interfaces, “support_a” and “support_b”
  2. When update of site “support” takes place, both interfaces “support_a” and “support_b” would be updated to the newer version together.  It is not possible to update only "support_a" or only "support_b" interfaces.
