Why am I receiving an "Access Denied..." message when trying to access the Connect Web Services for SOAP?

You will also need to update the profile by enabling the "Public SOAP API" option under the 'Administration' tab in the permissions window of the profile. In order to enable this option, please follow the steps provided below:
1. Go to Configuration > Staff Management > Profiles.
2. Open the specific profile.
3. Click on 'Permissions' in the ribbon.
4. Click on the 'Administration' tab.
5. Check the box next to 'Public SOAP API'.
6. Click Save.
You might want to test the username and password by logging into the Oracle Service Cloud console to confirm that the username and password are valid.
Please note, it is best practice to set up a specific account only for RightNow Connect API access, however, Oracle Service Cloud will support either method you choose.
SOAP API requires SSL for security purposes. Please verify that the site has a valid certificate.
A best practice is to ensure the 'password expires' checkbox is unchecked. Some integrations are hard coded with the password, so if the password changes it could break the integration.
