Why does the Standard KA Published–Unpublished Articles report (ID 18046) show Published article(s) as Unpublished in some cases?
The Published–Unpublished Articles report (ID 18046) determines the status based on the article’s Last Modified Date. The report evaluates status based on the selected Modified Date range and the action recorded in Content History in Authoring for that period. If the action in the selected range is Published, the report shows Published and If the action in the selected range is Edited (or any action other than Published), the report treats it as Unpublished for that timeframe.
