ORTL editor enabled by default upon upgrade cutover
Answer ID 13055   |   Last Review Date 09/19/2025

Why is the ORTL editor enabled by default upon upgrade cutover, when it was disabled on the upgrade site?

Environment:

Service Module, Knowledge Advanced (KA), Knowledge Foundation (KF), Chat
Oracle B2C Service version 25A and greater

Issue:

We had previously had the ORTL editor disabled on our site, and after upgrade cutover we see it is enabled. We did not intend for this as we are waiting on a defect fix to the editor before it can be used on our site.

Resolution:

It is expected that the ORTL editor will be enabled by default upon upgrade cutover to version 25A and later. If necessary due to an outstanding defect, please submit an SR to support after cutover is complete to have the editor disabled again.
