How do I enable a cron job on my test site?
Environment:
Oracle B2C Service Cron Jobs
Job Scheduler (Controlled Availability for versions 24D and 25A)
Resolution:
There is a Job Scheduler product feature available, under Controlled Availability for the 24D and 25A versions, that provides the ability for customers to manage custom cron jobs. This feature can be enabled using an SR submitted to Support, and for further details see relevant product feature documentation here.
Otherwise, managing cron jobs including configuration, enablement, maintenance and troubleshooting is performed by Oracle Consulting Services (OCS). Oracle Consulting Services (OCS) can handle all cron job related tasks, including the examples below;
- Enable a cron job on a recently refreshed test site
- Change the schedule on a cron job
- Set up a cron job on a site
- Troubleshoot cron job errors
- Update the email recipients on a cron job notification
