Resolution:
The standard product functionality allows individual staff accounts to never have their password expired. However, this cannot be done for the system-defined administrator account password. If you have the Password Configuration > Password Expiration > Expiration Interval set > = 0, then the system-defined administrator account password will expire according to those settings. The only way to prevent the system-defined administrator account password from ever expiring is to set the Expiration Interval = 0, but that will turn it off for all staff accounts.There is no way to control this account on an individual basis like you can with individual staff accounts.
