Unable to Access WebDAV Folder with SSO-Enabled Account
Answer ID 13113   |   Last Review Date 04/06/2026

Why am I receiving an error when attempting to access our site's WebDAV folder with SSO-enabled accounts/account profiles?

Environment:

Customer Portal (CP)

Resolution:

WebDAV login is not supported for accounts with SSO-enabled profiles. Instead, non-SSO accounts must be used to log into WebDAV for managing Customer Portal files. As an alternative, it is possible to implement a custom solution for managing Customer Portal files as described in the Customer Connect Community here.

In the case where a non-SSO account that has WebDAV permissions is moved to a SSO-enabled profile while the WebDAV connection is mapped as a Network Drive in Windows Explorer, you may encounter the below Windows warning when the network drive attempts to reconnect using the recently modified account.
