How do I enable Event Services in Oracle B2C Service?

Environment:

Oracle B2C Service Event Service, Platform Extensibility

Resolution:

Event Services has two prerequisites.

• Site Version: The Oracle B2C Service site version should be 22C or higher.
• OCI Streams: The customer must have Oracle Streaming Service provisioned in their OCI tenancy to receive the events.

Please refer to Setting up OCI Tenancy and OCI Streams and Defining Cross Tenancies Policies for more details on OCI Streams.

Once the streams are set up and policies are defined, the admins have to raise a service request on Ask Technical Support with these details to provision Event Services:

• Site Name – Name of the Oracle B2C Service instance
• Stream OCID – The OCI ID for the stream in customer tenancy
• Tenancy OCID – The OCI ID of the customer tenancy
• Region Key – The OCI region key in which the stream is created.
