Public API (PAPI) Rate Limiting Feature of Oracle B2C Service
Answer ID 12551   |   Last Review Date 02/15/2023

How can I limit the use of the Oracle B2C Service public APIs so use does not overload the site?

Environment:

Public REST and SOAP APIs
Oracle B2C Service

Resolution:

Regulating inbound public API (PAPI) traffic, or API throttling, helps prevent finite resources from being monopolized by one or a few applications, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Using API throttling, you can control the number of database connections assigned to inbound PAPI requests. Documentation for this product feature can be found here.
