Asynchronous CPM customizations triggered on one interface can run on any enabled interface
Answer ID 10377   |   Last Review Date 07/22/2019

When an asynchronous CPM customization is queued in processing on one interface, why am I seeing it run on another?

Environment:

Process Designer, Custom Process Model (CPM) / Service Process Model (SPM)
All product versions

Resolution:

Asynchronous CPM customizations are run using a site utility called spm_scheduler. This utility can be run on any enabled interface on a site and will use the resources available to that interface in processing. This includes any files located in scripts/custom that may be utilized by a CPM customization. For further information see Answer ID 6707: Include paths for custom process object event handler scripts
