Does Oracle Field Service support quota overbooking?

Quota availability-based booking approach does not directly support overbooking.  However, if no capacity is available, you can still book an activity as long as it's supported by your configured booking process. OFS cannot prevent the actual booking of an activity. It merely provides data about current available quota and capacity to the booking agent.

Oracle Field Service provides a means for booking activities and calculating remaining Quota information. Oracle Field Service does not perform the actual booking decision nor stops the booking process, even if there is no capacity available or quota has been exceeded.  You may utilize the activity Booking Options method API Get activity booking options to query if a given activity should be booked.
