Global Coding Standard for Languages in OFS
Answer ID 9730   |   Last Review Date 08/04/2019

Which Global Coding Standard is used for languages in Oracle Field Service (OFS)?

Environment:

Oracle Field Service (OFS)

Resolution:

The code is a combination of an ISO 639 two-letter lowercase culture code associated with a language and an ISO 3166 two-letter uppercase subculture code associated with a country or region.
(For example: the current API code for the English language is 'en', which would be 'en-US').

More information can be found in the Oracle Field Service Release Notes for your version. Refer to Documentation for Oracle Field Service.

The REST API can be used to retrieve the language information. More details about this GET method can be found here.

If you have questions on the specific language codes used in your OFS environment, open a support ticket with OFS Support and the language codes can be provided.
