Is there a limit to the configured size of the product tree for a site?

All product versions
Resolution:
A large product tree can be the cause of errors in Customer Portal and when using the Knowledge Foundation API with answers associated with a large amount of products. A best practice of a maximum of 1,000 sub-products for a given product should be followed to avoid encountering such errors.
