Quick Search Toolbar missing from Console

Although the option is selected for the user group in Navigation Sets, why is it one employee no longer has visibility of the Quick Search feature?

Environment:

Navigation Sets
Oracle B2C Service

Issue:

An employee no longer has visibility of the Quick Search feature.  Although the option is selected for the user group in Navigation Sets, this one employee is unable to view the option. 

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, have the user follow the steps below to re-enable the Quick Search:

1. Go to File > Options > Tool Windows

2.Once the screen above is open, select the "Quick Search" check box and then click OK.

3. At this point the Quick Search Toolbar will appear and may be undocked from the console.

4. If the Quick Search Toolbar is undocked, drag it onto the console where you would like to see it displayed.

Cause:

Issue likely arises from user accidentally closing out the toolbar.
