Community Question Statistics (kf_social_question_stats) table is empty

We have been testing Community Self Service in reference, dev and staging so why is this activity not logging a history of community question visits in kf_social_question_stats?

Environment:

Customer Portal, Community Self Service

Resolution:

It is intended to not write to the kf_social_question_stats table unless in production mode for the site. This is to prevent stats including end-user sessions, spider tracking, answer stats, etc. from being effected by someone accessing the CP pages in development or staging mode.
