What steps do I take to create or refresh/re-create a test site for the Oracle B2C Service?
Oracle B2C Service (OSvC)
Oracle recommends that test sites are refreshed after each production site update and regularly after that to keep the test environment as close to the production environment as possible. A refreshed test site also offers a “like for like” environment to safely implement and verify configuration changes before rolling the modifications into production. Test sites can be created or re-created/refreshed within the Oracle Cloud Portal - Configuration Assistant self-service tool

Please note that any time you re-create a test site you should complete the following steps before logging into the re-created test site to ensure you can login without generating the following error: "Cannot activate a deployment with earlier version than the current minimum required version of the application".
1. Prior to refresh of a test site, use Programs and Features in the Windows Operating System to remove all instances of RightNow (OSvC) on any workstation to be used for testing.
2. Remove the following folder: C:\Users\**your username**\AppData\Roaming\RightNow_Technologies
3. Restart the workstation
4. Request the refresh of the test site
5. Follow the link provided in your notification of the test site refresh completion to download the refreshed test site interfaces for testing.

You will lose any custom vhosts you have applied to test sites when they are refreshed. This is because the cloning process reassociates the interface by its original name in DNS, which is on our *.custhelp.com domain and certificate. If you attempt to access using the custom name after a refresh, you may see certificate or SSL errors. The solution at this time is to submit an incident to technical support and we can manually reapply the custom name for you. Frequent refresh requests will be directed to Oracle Consulting. When submitting a ticket, it is helpful to provide the certificate and as much information as possible.
