How can we reset a user's password in Oracle Field Service?
Oracle Field Service (OFS)
Users have the ability to reset their own passwords in the login screen when the option 'Enable password reset on Login screen' is enabled and the property used to keep user's email address is configured in Configuration > Display.
If there is a need to change the user's password on their behalf, this can be done by:
- Going to Resource screen
- Searching for the user
- Accessing Edit Resource screen.
- Entering the new password in the "Password" field and "Confirm password" field.
Is the user you are looking for not listed in the Resource screen?
Make sure you have access to this resource in the Resource tree.
Password field not editable?
Make sure the visibility permission for this field in the Edit/Resource/User screen is set to Read-write for your User Type
