Viewing survey results
Answer ID 2386   |   Last Review Date 03/18/2019

How can I view the results for our survey?

Environment:

Outreach, Feedback, Surveys, Analytics

Resolution:

From within the survey, click the Results tab to review the responses for the survey. You can view data for both the survey and the invitation message.

The Results tab displays a list of standard reports that present survey response data as well as information about the effectiveness of your survey invitation messages, such as total emails sent and delivered, survey link clicks, unsubscribes, bounces, and forwards and even track mobile survey trends.

Using the Customize List link, you can also add additional standard or custom reports to the Results tab for convenience.

  • Tip: Once clicked, use the Find in List feature to search by report name, i.e. search "survey".  Click 'Find Next' to step through all related reports.  Click the "Add -->" button and OK to add the selected report to the Results tab.  Added reports will then be available from all surveys.

For transactional surveys sent for incidents, adding the standard 'Incident Details by Survey' report may be useful. See also Tracking transactional survey results by agent in online documentation.

Once results are generated, you can choose to forward or export the report using options in the top Ribbon.

Topic Monitoring:

This is a wizard that helps group text responses containing similar content and look for emerging themes (a.k.a. clustering).  This feature helps you more easily spot trends in text responses to your survey questions.

Topic monitoring lets you view the distribution of responses across themes and drill down into themes or sub-themes to read individual responses. Themes are accessed through the survey Results tab and the topic monitoring report in Analytics.
