Are there updates to the Rich Text editor for agents handling chats in the BUI?

Environment:
B2C Service Chat, Browser UI, Engagement Panel

Resolution: 
As of August 16th 2024, a new Rich Text editor version is now available for testing. For agents handling chat in the Browser UI, the rich text area can be updated to a more streamlined & secure version that is entirely owned by Oracle. If you wish to update the Rich Text editor version in one of your sites before it becomes generally available, please submit a service request via the Ask Technical Support page.
 
While efforts have been made to keep this transition smooth, agents will experience a few minor differences when working in the chat panel. The updates to the agent’s experience in chat include:
 
•    A smaller compose control (65p) where the agent enters their message
 Image format buttons
 
•    Now, the buttons in the rich text editor are colored blue when selected
 Image format buttons
 
•    The list of emojis is updated, so that it matches the available emojis provided in the Answer Editor
 Image format buttons

The Rich Text editor version will be updated for all sites according to the schedule below:
