Reset password to My Services and Configuration Assistant for IDCS migrated customers
Answer ID 12864   |   Last Review Date 07/12/2024

How do I reset the password for logging into My Services and the Configuration Assistant if I have been migrated to the IDCS environment?

Environment:

Oracle Cloud portal - My Services and Configuration Assistant for IDCS Environment

Resolution:

The IDCS user account expires every 120 days.  The IDCS does not send out notifications noting the password is about to expire.  Per the password policies, when the time comes for the password change, the user is prompted to change it via the user interface.

In order to reset your password for your account, you will need to follow the instructions below.  Please retain the challenge questions information for when you need to reset your password in the future.

1. Go to https://cloud.oracle.com/sign-in
2. Click ‘Sign In using a Cloud Account Name’.
3. Click on the Next button.
4. Enter Username:
5. Click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ link.

If you are experiencing issues, I would recommend to log out of all cloud.oracle.com pages and clear your Internet browser history and cache, or try a different browser, and then try again.

Please submit a service request to Technical Support at cx.rightnow.com if there are any further issues with resetting your account password.
