Answer ID 12054   |   Last Review Date 01/18/2022

Why am I seeing an 'HTTP ERROR 401 Unauthorized' message when trying to login to Oracle Messaging?

Environment:

Chat, Oracle Messaging
Oracle B2C Service

Issue:

I am trying to login to the OM Administrative Interface and I am getting this error message:

HTTP ERROR 401 Unauthorized
URI:    /kweet/config/configuration/saml/verify/...-OsvcHmsLegacy-OSvC
STATUS:    401
MESSAGE:    Unauthorized

Resolution:

This error message is received when an account, whose profile was not given permission, is trying to login to the OM Admin UI. To verify and/or change the permissions, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to the B2C Service Agent Browser UI with the administrator login
  2. Click the Username icon and select OM Admin UI
  3. Click Administration
  4. Make sure the profile your account belongs to is added in the Administrator Profiles list.
Note: If you are not seeing the list of existing profiles in the dropdown, you will need to enter the login credentials of the Messaging-BUI Proxy user, and then click Save.
