Why do I get no results when I search for an activity but other users do?

My user has access to the entire Resource Tree but I am getting no results when I search for activity WO12345. Another user of a different User Type also has access to the entire Resource Tree and she is able to search for activity WO12345. I don't understand why I am not able to see this activity.
Some User Types may have a restriction in place to only allow visibility of certain activities (or all activities), and/or have certain activity fields hidden. These restrictions are configured in Configuration > User Type > Restrictions and Filters. If your User Type has access to the entire Resource Tree and you cannot see an activity that other User Type can, check the restrictions and filters configured for your User Type.
