What is Data Lifecycle Management?

Environment:

Oracle B2C Service 18A and later

Resolution:

Data Lifecycle Management provides an easy to use component with built-in policies for managing storage and data volume within Oracle B2C Service. One of the key benefits is the leveraging of the bulk delete APIs for quicker and more efficient purging. Currently, this is only available in the Agent Browser UI starting in the Oracle B2C Service 18A release and can be added to your navigation set (Components > Common > Data Lifecycle Policies). During the initial phases of this implementation only canned policies are available. They include purging for incident and contact transactions as well as incident purging and archiving.

For more information on this feature please review Data Lifecycle Management section in online documentation for the version your site is currently running. To access Oracle B2C Service manuals and documentation online, refer to the Documentation for Oracle B2C Service Products.
